The contrast between the above world and the below one is phenomenal. Before you explained what was going on here, I genuinely believed that the top was real the bottom was a reflection. That this was inverted is a wonderful subversion of expectations. the reflection somehow makes it feel a lot larger and grander of a view. I also love that the top of the image is much lower exposure than the bottom, this sort of suggests some stuff about what is actually reality and the truth beneath appearances.
