Taking a daily drive through the village of Port Jefferson sparked my interest in shooting this series that I would like to call “People Watching.” I observed hundreds of different types of people and could not help but wonder what their stories were. Every single person was on a different mission, going through their own waves of life. I was inspired to capture the essence of their stories through an off guard photograph. Each person photographed in this series was unknown to my presence so I could capture the utmost raw moment. Port Jefferson carries various people who come and go and I hope to encompass that in this series.
