Welcome to my webpage!

Hi! My name is Xander Berg. I am a MS student studying BME on the medical physics track at Stony Brook. My current research project is focused on using free-water imaging, an analysis method for diffusion MRI, to identify and assess neuropathological diseases , such as dementia. My previous research interests include working on x-ray flat panel detector using amorphous selenium.

I graduated with a BE in BME from Stony Brook in May 2020 with a minor in Physics.

Less academic areas of interests of mine include coding games, running around campus (mainly for exercise but occasionally because I am late), and reading Lovecraftian horror, Agatha Christie mysteries, or perhaps a Brandon Sanderson novel.
