Time of Day ‘Between a Dog and a Wolf’

 

 

8am f/9 1/200 ISO 400 55mm; it was hard to find the light this early in the morning
10am f/9 1/2000 ISO 640 55mm; the snow made it very bright out since the sun was reflecting on it
10am f/9 1/1250 ISO 640 55mm; can see the green on the trees as opposed to a later image when the sun was low
12:30pm f/14 1/100 ISO 400 55mm; at lot of shadows at this time of day when the sun is high
12:30pm f/14 1/100 ISO 400 55mm; tried to capture the light reflecting off the red cement mixer
12:30pm f/14 1/100 ISO 400 35mm; there were at lot of shadows, tried to capture the light parts of the rocks, enjoyed the contrast

12:30pm f/9 1/100 ISO 400 55mm; this wheel barrel was flipped upside down underneath a canopy, the blacks in this picture are very dark

1pm f/9 1/320 ISO 400 55mm; enjoyed the light coming through the trees and onto this piece of wood
2pm f/9 1/800 ISO 4000 55mm; light gave off a warm color
2:30pm f/9 1/2000 ISO 4000 55mm; the light is not as warm, even though it was taken around the same time as the previous picture
4pm f/9 1/50 ISO 400 55mm; there are no more shadows like the previous image of this piece of wood taken at 1pm
4pm f/9 1/50 ISO 400 55mm; reflection of light on the pole, warm

4:30pm f/9 1/200 ISO 400 36mm; colors look cool because it was a cloudier day
4:30pm f/9 1/125 ISO 4000 55mm; now the other side of the cement mixer has light reflecting on it
4:30pm f/9 1/160 ISO 400 52mm; light was able to reach underneath the canopy by this point, which made the darks not as dark
4:30pm f/9 1/1600 ISO 400 55mm; the sun was setting soon, which made it harder to capture the browns on the trees
