This week we (meaning David and I) finally started working on our final presentation! We did some research over the weekend and came up with questions to ask Jarrod McFarlane, the manager of AV Services on Monday. He was super nice despite the fact that he probably does this every Spring semester. I’ve only encountered AV Services twice at my time here at Stony Brook and that was only to borrow an HDMI cable for a class presentation. I had no idea there was so much behind the system and how similar it actually is to our job as TLT consultants. While interviewing him, I kept thinking of questions to ask him that other interns might not have asked him before to make our presentation unique and different. When we finished our interview, he told us that he was going to try to sit in for our presentation and that kind of made me nervous because I ultimately want our presentation to impress him!
