Socioeconomic cost of Our Design

The idea our group is presenting should make the process easier for the hospital staff and reduce work needed, and, hopefully, reduce cost for the patent. The physical material of the automated leveling system would be more costly than the simple, as the simple leveling systems only contain a transducer, zero line, a pressurized saline bag, and a transducer cable. However, on the other hand, it would reduce the needed attendance of a nurse to check the line, and give the patient more freedom to move around, without skewing the blood pressure results. The price the patient may pay in money could be offset by this gained freedom, and the need for aroundtheclock checking from nurses and staff would drop, which, in turn, would also reduce cost.
