Even though the use of transducers is so widespread, the transducer is so delicate that any movement done to either the patient or the transducer itself creates a significantly inaccurate reading. The effects of moving the transducer can be explained quite simply, using physics; however, the effects of moving the patient… well, that seems to be more complicated.
