Minor White (1908-1976) , born in Minneapolis, was an American photographer known for his meticulous black-and-white prints of landscapes, architecture, and men.
After serving in military intelligence during World War II, Minor White moved to New York City in 1945. He spent two years studying aesthetics and art history at Columbia University and developing his own distinctive style
