My final proposal took me a long time to write. I finally decided to write about faces and the emotional attachment to them. Everyone in life makes gestures, cues and moves their faces into positions to show how they feel. However, as humans, we have learned to move our faces into certain positions to almost “fake” our emotions. Some people smile when they really want to just break down. My images that I captured are mostly up close portraits. Each representing emotions on the outside that we show, and emotions that we are truly feeling on the inside. The feelings and emotion of insanity, sadness, anxiety, and many more, consume my images.
My images will also display a few different processing techniques. Some examples include double exposure, contrast and temperature changes, and brightness.

An artist that I used as a reference to create my images was Andrea Sunder-Plassman. I really love the feelings that are captured into her portraits. She creates emotion.
