Biography:
Andrea Paldy, a 2016 Stony Brook Southampton Children’s Literature fellow, writes children’s fiction and nonfiction for Heinemann Publishing. Some of her titles include The World on One Clock: The Beginning of Standard Time, Room for Debate, and Panic at the Picnic. She was a reporter and blogger for Times Beacon Record Media, where she covered education and local political events for ten years and created and wrote the featured parenting blog “It Takes a Village.” She is the co-author of the book Exploring Motion Graphics (2006), a textbook guide to applying the principles of design theory to create communicative motion graphics for film, video, television and the web.
