Alpha Waves

Julia Hoel is an artist who enjoys tapping into science for her artwork. Here Hoel brought brain waves which are only something people may interact with within diagrams and scans into her gallery in 3d form. The waves are named Alpha, Beta, Delta and, Gamma for the respective brain waving Howl has black oil coated iron bars matching. Hoel wanted to bring weight to something that the human eye couldn’t see and carefully put together these works so that they could be as accurate as possible.
