In this project, we proposed a new method to overcome over-propagation of labels in Label Propagation Algorithm. This method is shown to outperform other suggested heuristics, especially when the network’s community structure is unclear; meaning that there are no clear cuts to use in clustering of the nodes.

This project was done in collaboration with Saeid Mahloujifar and under supervision of Mahdieh Soleymani.
