Overview
The piece will be a 10-minute experimental video with accompanying audio. The video will mold itself to the created audio. I have always been a very big fan of EDM music and really enjoyed the visuals that accompany the audio in live performances. I am trying to further enhance the listening experience. I am enrolled in a video class, have a lot of animation experience, and am enrolled in a sound design class. I aim to combine all of these skills to create a very refreshing experimental piece.
Sound environments have the power to move people, when accompanied with visuals they can transport the viewer to a new world. Audio can tap into memory. The listener is disconnected from the natural world and further immersed into the digital audio/visual.
Status
My sound design class just finished covering Logic Pro X and I can now start designing the audio. Video for the piece is currently being gathered. I did not want gross weather footage in my project so most of the shooting will be done now because of the improving weather. The next step is to animate the audio using aftereffects and an analog technique.

VIDEO
This video shows the animation and abstract composition I am looking for.
This video shows a second approach to the project using analog. Ultimately this is how the animation will be structured.

I will be using DATAMOSH techniques for the more intense sections of the audio.

I did quite a bit of searching and found a stock audio website that I can use freely to create the sound environment.

POST
Finally, the project will be posted on my current portfolio asafharari.weebly.com in the video/animation section.
