Research
I am currently working in Dr. Jun Wang’s lab on a multiplex biosensor for protein detection in single cells.
I have spent a majority of my time working on the code that will analyze the different cycles of bright field and fluorescent microscope images in order to determine the intensity of the fluorescence for the different proteins that are being measured. I have also been working on fabricating the microarrays, culturing cells, and creating the DNA-protein conjugate. After filling the wells of the microarray with the single cells from the culture the DNA-protein conjugate can be used to run an ELISA on this microarray to detect the protein. The array is then imaged and then processed using the code.
