SKILLS
- Java Computer Programming:These are very basic skills I’ve learned from computer science courses which include the language and layout of java programming.
- Basic Spanish and Greek Skills: Due to my visits to both Spain and Greece, I have taken many High School courses in both languages. Although I understand these languages very well, my speech impediment makes it difficult for me to physically speak these languages clearly for everyone to understand.
- Office Applications: I have used these applications for various projects throughout all of my years in school. Although I’ve primarily used Microsoft Office, I do have a good understanding of many other versions.
- Word: Used in dozens of school projects and reports to write research papers and even to analyze the steps taken to solve complex mathematical problems
- Excel: Used to complete several reports both as an individual and with groups. I am also able to apply mathematical formulas and graphs to complete historical charts in this office platform.
- Power Point: Used to create various slide shows representing important historical figures in mathematics and to explain current events in the media.
- Access: Though not as proficient in this as the other applications, I do have a basic understanding of this platform.
