What is Be Well?
Our Mission
As a non credit bearing certificate program under the Health and Wellness Minor, the Be Well program aims to allow participants to explore their own understanding of their personal well-being. Be Well aims to focus on the well-being of the individual in relation to the seven dimensions of health and wellness. As a result, participants will apply interactive strategies to improve their state of wellness.
Our Vision
“Exploring who you are, what you do, and how you live.”
The Be Well program is affiliated with the Undergrauate College of Human Development (HDV). HDV has three tenants to explore human development in Kelly Quad. The dimensions of wellness apply to these tenants as follows:
Who you are:
- Physical Wellness
- Emotional Wellness
- Spiritual Wellness
What you do:
- Occupational Wellness
- Intellectual Wellness
How you live:
- Environmental Wellness
- Social Wellness
