A womb-like earthwork was constructed in the Millennium Forest. The artist, with children and visitors, created and installed 500 earthen eggs, the size of an ostrich egg, made from soil and the seeds of native flowers. The number 500 corresponds to the approximate number of ova a woman releases in her reproductive lifetime; the eggs act as a symbol of life and reregeneration. The eggs will decompose and the flowers will blossom after the rain. Over time, the earthwork will become a gathering place. The eggs will decompose and the flowers will blossom after the rain.
