During our design process, we will return to certain parts of our project if certain characteristics are not fulfilled (non-functional pressure monitor, non-biocompatible cooling gel material, etc). We can determine the safety of the cooling gel material by animal testing. In addition, we can also check the functionality of the pressure monitor by making sure the display works. Then, we must ensure that each of the design criteria is fulfilled. We will also test out different alternatives, like trying different materials for the cooling gel and placement of the pressure monitor, to see which one maximizes our design criteria and will be more convenient for the patient.
