My design
For my project, we were to expand upon our ARSXBME project, the bilateral support for leg, and add an electronic component. I decided to make a step counter by using a push button coded so that every time its pressed, the step count increases by 1 and is printed on the LCD. As our design included cane bottoms, the pushbutton cut be stored inside the ribber cane bottom and would be externally connected to the breadboard using female to male wires.
how it was achieved
To do this I first constructed
d the circuit in tinker cad and coded it, then we built the physical circuit in class.
Unfortunately due to limited supplies the actual design could not be assembled coming off of the breadboard but still was able to show functionality. Images of the constructed circuit as well as code in Arduino IDE application can be seen on the right and below.
Attached below is a google drive link to a video explaining my project and issues I came across in the process: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1i3wYsFC6hw33uqorNJDDNASRL30IOd7B/view?usp=sharing
