The future that I envision is one that includes the use of portals, which allow the middle class citizens of the galaxy to teleport to any place they desire with efficiency. In my future there is no need for cars or other transportation methods because one can easily travel with the use of portals. They may even travel to remote locations for leisure or to settle there while using the portals to travel to big cities for smaller conveniences. Portals could be used for kids to travel to foreign countries to study and learn new languages and culture. I think the incorporation of portals into daily life would connect the world on a more intimate scale.

It also opens up the option for galactic travel to planets yet discovered by humanity. This could allow for overpopulated countries to colonize new planets and reduce the stress on Earth and its limited resources. Overall, portals would be an excellent addition to our quality of life on Earth. The possibilities with portal technology would be nearly limitless.
