Vivian Maier

I chose these two photographs because I decided to do a similar concept for my self portrait project. Instead of the typically set up of putting my camera on a tripod and setting a time or taking a selfie, I wanted to take self portraits in the most intimate place to me, my room. To put a spin on it I decided to take all of my portraits via reflective surfaces. While some you may see my face, most are a shadow and outline of my while encompassing my surrounding room.

I chose this picture because it allows a secondary photograph within a photo, which is similar to the theme of reflective photographs that Vivian also did.
