Mini Byte: Google Keep – Keep all your notes and lists accessible, online

We can use Google Keep to make lists, take notes, and then share those notes and lists to get work done. You can also create tasks as reminders with due dates. This short webinar will introduce how to make lists/notes that can be accessed on your phone, tablet, and computer so that you always have access to your to them.

04. East Campus/Hosp/HSC Workshops/TrainingAnnual Incubator Showcase
The third annual Incubator Showcase will be held at the Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT) building located in the Research and Development Park located off 1500 Stony Brook Rd., Stony Brook NY on June 27, 2018 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. This event will host over 50 StartUp companies from Stony Brook University incubators. The companies will exhibit their research/products, and be on-hand to discuss their ideas as well as answer any questions you may have. The event is free, but attendees must pre-register to attend.

The Social Developmental Neuroscience Lab at Stony Brook University, run by Dr. Johanna Jarcho, is excited to announce our newest study available for the summer: Forming Reputations & Investigating Electrophysiological Network Dynamics, aka FRIEND! We are looking for families with adolescents between 11 and 14 years old. The study involves one 3 hour visit to Stony Brook University. Your family will be compensated $50 for the visit with a chance to win an extra $10 during your participation. The study consists of some questionnaires, computer games, problem solving games, and an EEG (electroencephalogram). All of these study activities are non-invasive, painless, confidential, and fun! Autism Research Study Available for Children 11-17 years old
The Social Competence and Treatment Lab (SCTL), under the direction of Dr. Matthew Lerner, is a research lab focusing on understanding how kids, teens, and adults on and off the autism spectrum see and perceive their social world around them. The SCTL lab is looking for children and adolescents between 11-17 years old for one of our studies, Investigating Social Patterns in Youth, or I-SPY! This study consists of three visits to our lab right on Stony Brook Campus. Activities include questionnaires, seeing your child’s brain activity through an EEG and a pizza party with individuals your child’s age! Compensation is given upon completion of the study. All activities are completely safe, non-invasive, and confidential. Siblings are also welcome to participate!
