OEE & the Academic Assessment Process Workshop
Join the OEE for a refresher on assessment! During this session, OEE will provide an overview of the assessment services we offer, the assessment councils and committees we support, and the role of an assessment coordinator. We will also provide a brief review of the 2022-2023 program assessment cycle, with an update on what to expect during the 2023-2024 cycle. Apply Now for this STEM Faculty Development Opportunity! A Gamified Learnshop for Enhancing Inclusive Teaching in STEM
An interdisciplinary group of Stony Brook faculty won the SUNY Innovations in Instructional Technology Grant 2023, now recruiting 20 SBU STEM instructors to participate in a collaborative online faculty development program this fall. The i-STEAM Project: A gamified faculty development learnshop for enhancing inclusive teaching in STEM is supported by SBU Office of Diversity and the CELT. Participants who complete the program will be paid a $500 stipend. Application deadline: Sept. 15, 2023

A Master of Science degree in Athletic Training is offered through the School of Health Professions. The admission application is now open; accepted students start courses in May 2024.

Della Pietra High School Applied Math Program – academic year program for high school students
Weekly three-hour sessions where students will explore a variety of mathematical areas that will teach them about applied mathematics. Topics may include game theory, optimization, the mathematics of puzzles and games, computer modeling, mathematics of finance. Students will work individually or in groups on projects that will further their understanding of the topic.
