Concur Update: Adding of Verify Tool
In our continued efforts to improve efficiencies in the expense reimbursement and reconciliation process, Stony Brook University’s Procurement Department will be utilizing Concur’s AI auditing tool, called Verify. Users will now see one added workflow step when submitting an expense report and will be notified if there are items that need to be corrected. Join the Department of Computer Science as we welcome Yael Tauman Kalai, Microsoft Research who will be delivering a lecture on, ‘Efficient Verification of Computation on Untrusted Platforms.’
Efficient verification of computation is fundamental to computer science and has growing practical significance. Kalai will discuss the correctness of a computation and both their practical aspects as well as their impact, complexity, and approximation.

USG and the Stony Brook Food Farmacy are collaborating for a food drive! The Food Farmacy is a new program that donates non-perishable foods to Stony Brook Hospital patients that have identified as being food insecure in the last year. Come by and donate if you are able!
