Campus lactation rooms on West, East, South, and Southampton Campus are specifically dedicated for the purpose of offering a comfortable and private space for breast milk expression and nursing on campus, each featuring a hospital-grade electric double breast pump, cleaning and personal care items, comfortable seating, mini-fridge, microwave, and more! For info about locations, terms and conditions of use, and to gain access to active spaces throughout campus, visit the website below. The next time you update your address in SOLAR, you may notice it works a little differently. We are launching a service, Clean Address, that automatically validates and formats domestic addresses. The service will be integrated into all university PeopleSoft systems, and will improve data accuracy and ensure physical mail is delivered efficiently. The Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) at Stony Brook University is inviting the community to attend its monthly meetings. This committee reviews and provides oversight for research that uses recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid molecules. These types of studies can include vaccine trials and cancer research.
