As someone who struggled with heart disease as a kid, the mission of Save a Child’s Heart is very important to me. SACH is an Israeli nonprofit that provides heart surgeries to children at no cost. They also train doctors from third world countries who go back and operate on children.
My vision for the future is that this nonprofit expands so that no children are left without healthcare. I hope that in the future, more people who need these services can find out about SACH. In addition, my hope is that enough doctors are trained so that kids in third world countries don’t need to travel to Israel for life saving healthcare.
In the future, all children should be able to just be kids, regardless of whatever health problems they are facing. If all children had healthcare, then they would do better in school and the world would benefit as a side effect. Healthy kids means a healthy future.
