Portraiture
I discovered in portrait photography there is much more to a portrait than just the person being captured in the image. The environment around them is crucial, and will completely change the feel of the portrait. Also posing is very important, and a lot goes into a dynamic yet still image. For instance, with a landscape photo, you have to capture what you see, but with a portrait you can change the position of the person so it is never truly static, and adds more options. In contrast though, while this photo is malleable, it is not a moving object, so there is not as much pressure to capture the image in a quick amount of time, because the person can hold their position. Overall, portrait photography felt very unique as a form of photography, with a plethora of options.
