50/50/50… #19: The Executive Chef’s Kitchen

Deep in the Campus Dining site, you’ll find a link to a fantastic — and free — program for our students called the “Executive Chef’s Kitchen.” (Okay, it’s not that deep. It’s on the menu on the left side of the screen.) Our students — for free — have the opportunity to enjoy interactive cooking demonstrations, learn healthy lifestyle cooking, discover vegan and vegetarian cooking techniques, enjoy samplings of cuisines from around the world, and be among the first to taste new products. (For free, in case I hadn’t mentioned it!)

And next month’s schedule is even cooler. Bobby & Jamie Deen, from Food Network’s Road Tasted, will be on campus on November 14, doing a special demonstration. (Anthony Bourdain was on campus doing the same thing last fall.)

Yet another cool thing about a good-sized campus… all sorts of cool opportunities like this!
