There have been dozens of colleges created for the purposes of TV and movies. Perhaps my favorite is Hudson University, which appears very frequently on the Law & Order: SVU (and I think, CI) shows. I tell you, that’s one university I would never want to work for — or attend. Students are constantly getting killed, or faculty members are being suspected of all sorts of foul play… I can’t imagine trying to promote that to potential students!
