Something that I’ve been struggling with a lot is finding the correct balance of color in my images. Part of me wants to saturate things with rich, contrasted colors and the other part wants undersaturation.

In these images, the original pictures were incredibly grey and undersaturated from the cloudy skies and stormy water so I messed around with the color to add contrast between the bird and the water. I also wanted to create the illusion in the second image that the seagull was walking in snow as opposed to the foam.
