Congratulations to Emily Sarli, who graduated with a MS in Physiology & Biophysics!
Although we’re sad that she’s moving on from our lab, we’re happy that she will be starting medical school at our very own Renaissance School of Medicine in August 2025!
We wish Emily all the best as she begins the next stages of her career and hope to see her around the campus!

Congratulations to Yuxuan Lin, who graduates Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Biology, specialization in Interdisciplinary Biology with Honors!
We’re delighted that she will be joining our lab as part of the Molecular & Cellular Pharmacology PhD program here at Stony Brook in September 2025.
We hope Yuxuan will enjoy her time as a graduate student as she continues to work with us!

Congratulations to Kevin Byun, currently a junior at Stony Brook, on receiving a competitive URECA Summer program award to perform full time research with us over the summer!
He will be working on various projects including CRISPR/Cas9n editing in hESCs, and genetic mouse models of Folr1 and Cep164.
