Chinese and American Education is very different especially see through the eyes of an American Born Chinese and through the interview that was done with the 18 questions we created.
There are many things that affect a child’s education relating to school including their relationships with teachers, motivation to learn, and school environment. These are all big factors that affect a person’s life and in turn the person’s future.
Below are the people interviewed and their answers to the questions.

How many hours are you in school/ What time are you in school?
C: 6:45/7-9:30
L: 10 hours
Q: 13 hrs
W: 7-5:30

Do students have to cook themselves?
C: No you get tickets for food and there is no available kitchen for use.
L: No
Q: No, we are never allowed to cook in the dorm
W: No, Cooking is not available. School provides different foods for you to buy.

What or who motivates you to learn?
C: Independence
L: College entrance exam
Q: What parents say (At a young age parents said to work hard o get a good salary in the future)
W: Parents and just for doing a good job
X: To get good grades, go to a better university and find a high salary job
How are the relationships with teachers?
C: Very good/teachers don’t like me call on me just for no reason but sometimes tell me to do things
L: Not very close
Q: Very similar to a professor and students
W: Teachers are more serious, cannot challenge them
X: We can play jokes with them, but cannot have fun with them
How long is each class?
C: 45 mins but the teacher can drag it out
L: 45 mins

Does everyone take the same class?
C: Yes, suppose to learn 11 different classes only have time for 8 classes

C: There is no time

C: My school no there is only one in the city that lets
