Meleni Sarantos has joined the lab for the summer, working with Kylie on CCWT projects… building a database for analyzing amoA, nirS and nirK amplicon sequences, and developing column experiments to investigate microbial community dynamics.

Welcome to our Simons Summer Research Program scholar!
Sarah Kelso has joined the lab for 6 weeks this summer. She’ll be working with Mariana (also pictured here), Laura, and Sabrina on a thraustochytrid zoospore phototaxis project
.
She will also help us do a LOT of experiments to evaluate the NEPA21 electroporator.
