I decided to do my power-point presentation on a photographer that I feel most familiar with. My friend Nicolas Bruno has been taking photos for as long as I can remember. In our earlier years I actually used to model for him. Over the years his photography has become something many can admire. He has been interviewed by many online magazines such as IDA (Indian Digital Art), Viral Nova, and Just recently had an interview with Flickr at Yahoo Studios. His inspiration for his photos comes from his experience with sleep paralysis, a condition he has suffered from since he was 15 years old. Nicolas attends SUNY Purchase and works with a college students budget (which isn’t much), yet you would never know because of how impressive his work is.
Nicolas tends to use a lot of props to enhance his photos and make them as close to his actual visions as possible. He also works in abandon buildings and large open fields.
Most of Nicks work also consists of himself being his own model which allows for his own emotions to be portrayed through his work.
