About This Report
This report is the latest research report in a sustained effort throughout 2014 by the Pew Research Center to mark the 25th anniversary of the creation of the World Wide Web by Sir Tim Berners-Lee. He wrote a paper on March 12, 1989 proposing an “information management” system that became the conceptual and architectural structure for the Web.  He eventually released the code for his system  — for free — to the world on Christmas Day in 1990. It became a milestone in easing the way for ordinary people to access documents and interact over the Internet — a system that linked computers and that had been around for years. – http://www.pewinternet.org/2014/03/11/digital-life-in-2025

  1. Our group agrees with the article that the internet will become more popular in the future and that it will help people in many different ways. For instance, connecting with other people, getting useful information on the internet, saving time and money, etc. We also believe that networking will take a large part of our future life.

  2. The article, “Digital Life in 2025”, is actually quite interesting. It’s main point is that the internet, by 2025, will be woven into our lives so well that we won’t even notice it’s heavy usage anymore. It’s compared to electricity in our lives, and the truth of the statement is staggering.

  3. Many of these scenarios are highly speculative. Though some are more plausible than others. Some have been prevented, at least for the time being such as “multiple internets” (Net Neutrality Protection). In all this article presents many compelling questions about the future of networked technologies.

  4. It talks about how instead of a revolution, technology has become an evolution. The internet is already everywhere in the country and people have access to it at all times. Things are being built faster and smaller, but not anything new. The article predicts a similar future, just with better advancements. We agree that personal fitness trackers will become a bigger market and become more connected with out phones and life.
