I titled this series “People in Nature.” I wanted this project to be an extension of both the portraiture project and the photo shoot we had in the greenhouse. I enjoy taking photos of people and exploring different angles, so I thought it would be interesting to add my love for plants and flowers into the series. Portraying people in nature gives it both a natural and unnatural feel. Since I live in the city, I feel like nature is often overlooked, so I wanted to take pictures of people embracing and connecting with nature in different ways. Whether it’s through physically touching the plants or just being around it.
