Two Artists For Project Two

Taken by Hiroshi Sugimoto in 1976.
Taken by Ansel Adams in 1936.

Hiroshi Sugimoto said that when he first saw these dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC they looked fake to him.  However, he stated that when you look at the diorama with a camera’s perspective then it can look very real.  The photo taken by Ansel Adams is of Nevada Fall and it demonstrates the power of the river as the water cascades down the near 600 ft. drop.
