The goal of the Surgical Assist Drape is to create a barrier between the patient and the surgeon/anesthesiologist so that the procedure can be performed without the need for the surgeon/anesthesiologist to scrub in, thus keeping the area free from contamination. 

The Surgical Assist Drape we designed is made of:

• a clear film and non-woven polyester 
• antimicrobial chemicals 
• biocidal additives

The packaging of the drape includes:

• Two vertical plastic poles to hold up the drape
• Additional adhesive strips
• Attachable absorbent pads
• Additional clear film
