My current research in the BOIL lab at Stony Brook University involves the applications of Spatial Frequency Domain Imaging (SFDI) in photodynamic therapy, essentially using light to activate therapeutic drugs while simultaneously quantifying treatment progression.

• Quantifying “true fluorescence” as a correlation factor for drug concentration (related work).
• Image processing for optical distortion correction and automated mosaic modeling (computer vision for connecting separate portions of a whole ROI).

• NIR imaging for hemodynamic analysis
