Profile

My current area of interest is the role of combined fluid shear stress and cyclic strain on vascular endothelium and how these factors may contribute to atherosclerosis. In the past, I have done research in the areas of microvascular pharmacology and cardiac progenitor cells.

When I’m not in the lab, I enjoy writing, playing violin, and discovering new places.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at elisabeth.steadman@stonybrook.edu.

Thank you!
