3:00 PM – The boy has just come home from school. He sits down at his desk to start his project, and is hopeful that it will only take him just a few hours.
5:30 PM – The boy, already having finished his coffee, brings out a package of cookies for brain food. The project is proving harder than he had initially thought, but he is still determined to push through.
8:00 PM – The boy is getting frustrated, as he has been battling obstacles in his project for hours. He has skipped dinner, and substitutes it instead with an energy drink and some chips.
10:30 PM – It is getting late and consequentially dark. The boy has had a few energy drinks already, but his eyes are strained from looking at the screen for so long. He is frustrated and tired.
1:00 AM – The boy, unable to keep his eyes open any longer, has fallen asleep on his computer. His many snacks, notes, and caffeinated beverages remain strewn across his desk.
