A lot of us out there focus our time and effort into typing out an attention grabbing resume. This brilliant innovation was former job searcher’s, Nicholas Ryan Begley, unique approach to impressing employers.

Begley sent out his resume in the form of a resume bar. He really shows off his out of box thinking selling himself, no doubt true to the label, an “Experienced Marketing Professional”.  The back label lists his skills and credentials in the format of a chocolate bar’s nutrition facts, cleverly renamed “Personal Facts”. When he sent out these bars to potential employers he landed a job soon after.

It is definitely an eye-catcher even compared to the most rigorously formatted paper resume. And is a tasty example of making use of one’s creativity when approaching the job market.
