Yale University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences very recently received funding from the NIH to run a Post-baccalaureate Research Education Program (PREP) that will provide five URM baccalaureate graduates with a one-year program of faculty-mentored research training in the biomedical sciences and educational preparation for graduate school admission. Participants will be provided with a salary to cover living expenses.

The program dates are June 1, 2014 – May 31, 2015. The application is due on April 1, 2014. The program is particularly interested in recent graduates (i.e. students who received a bachelor’s degree no longer than 36 months prior to their application to the Yale PREP) and students who will have their bachelor’s degrees by May 31, 2014.
