My parents were born in Bangladesh, and moved to America. I was born in Queens of New York shortly after they moved. I grew up there and stayed there for 12 years, after which my parents decided to move to Deer Park. Life has been hectic ever since, due to the work from my education being large back then and especially now, but I enjoyed life back then and now as well. This is mostly because I had and still have friends and family to socialize with, which helped me keep a positive mindset with all the work I had in the past and with the work I have now.

The schooling I had for a majority of elementary school included catholic activities in addition to the regular subject areas (math, social studies, etc.), since I was attending a catholic school. This changed as soon as I moved to Deer Park, as the schooling was no longer taking place at a religion-based institution.

Some hobbies I have:

I love math and science, and find coding interesting enough to pursue as my main work and as a hobby. I also enjoy playing video games as a pastime, and usually participate in fun activities with my family members, such as playing board games or going out to new places to see more of the world.

This is the research group I am part of! Friends all around, and we were having a great time for this Halloween. It’s a shame that I cannot meet them in person currently (I am remote learning for Stony Brook University), but I am happy I can still talk to them through Zoom.

It’s been tough to meet with friends at the University, due to remote learning. Here’s to hoping I can meet with everyone soon!
