L.I.V.(E). by Marilyn Theagene

Marilyn Theagene is a graduate of Stony Brook University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. She has much love for all things creative, including writing, reading, drawing & animating, singing, crafting, painting, acting, and more. She has never written or directed a short film before this, but hopes to give it her all in order to make something she can be proud of. Marilyn has written a few plays & short stories, was involved in theatre in her high school days, and has storyboarded animatics in the past, and thus plans on using tools from everything she’s learned to create her first short film, L.I.V.(E).

Hello! My name is Brittney McElroy, I’m 24 years old and I’m a Media/Art/Culture major with 2 minors in Filmmaking and Digital Art at Stony Brook University. I was raised here on Long Island and for as long as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to that arts. It wasn’t until later in life that I finally came to terms with wanting to work in Film/TV. Anything to do with being behind a camera. Though it feels like I’m late to the game, I’ve never felt more right in pursuing the dreams I never thought to be attainable. This film is just the first step.

Imperfect Us by Ziyu Zhang

My name is Ziyu Zhang, but you can also call me Zoey. I’m an international student from Beijing, China. I’m a freshman majoring in applied math. I come from a family of four. I have an elder brother. I like drawing, dancing, and watching comedy and shows. I also like animals, and I have a dog at home. I like different styles of art, especially visual art, so that’s why I have liked drawing since I was a kid and started filming last summer. I like art exhibitions, and I was in charge of the publicity department in my high school to design posters and decorate bulletin boards.
