This weeks challenge was designed by Dean, the Assistant Director of Campus Recreation, Fitness/Wellness, who is also a Personal Trainer and  Group Fitness Instructor at the Campus Recreation Center. Dean wanted to challenge participants to climb the exercise ladder and build on repetitions. The first exercise required 5 reps, while the last required 30! The challenge required participants to complete 5 Push Ups, 10 Lunges, 15 Tricep Dips, 20 Mountain Climbers, 25 Squat Jumps and 30 Jumping Jacks as fast as they could! We had 15 participants accept the challenge, and everyone was able to complete is under 2 minutes! Walking away with the green shirt this week were Alexa Barricelli, with a time of 1:12.75, and Mitchell Kun, with a time of 1:02.91.

Everyone did a great job and look out for us on Wednesday, February 26th at 4-4:45pm.

Pop Up Challenge: Winter Ski Skater on January 29th

This Pop Up Challenge wShannon 1.29as designed by Estelle, one of our Fitness Attendants and Fitness Instructor. Since the Winter Olympics were starting up, she decided to put everyone’s balance, coordination and speed to the test. This challenge required participants to do 10 Jump Lands, 10 Tuck Jumps, 10 Push Ups and 1 Lap sprint around the indoor track as fast as they could. 

We had 11 participants accept the challenge, but walking away with the lime green t-shirts for fastest times were Brandon Blair ( 40.95 seconds) and Shannon Sunny (43.63 seconds)
