Project 6- Self Directed

Family

In this final project, I did a comprehensive study of portrait photography. Photography is not just a hobby or career. It is a method of capturing memories filled with emotion that can not be replicated—the idea of clicking unique moments at the perfect timing with the scene a photographer had envisioned. Family – an attempt to capture key moments expressing emotions that represent relationships. It is an attempt to capture the importance of loved ones that we are surrounded by every day. The meaning of family is not only within our homes, its friends, classmates, animals, and nature. I wanted to ensure I included this message within my series by adding at least one picture of animals.

“If the family were a boat, it could be a canoe that makes no progress unless everyone paddles.”
