Dr. Charles Flagg is an Adjunct Professor / Principal Investigator at the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences at Stony Brook University. He received his Ph.D. in 1977 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/ Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. His research interests include continental shelf dynamics, bio-physical interactions in shelf systems, climate change effects on coastal aystems, and shipboard ADCPs on volunteer observing ships.
