1) Pave your own path – don’t follow a trajectory norm

2) Stop saying “I’m lucky” – you’re not lucky, you earned your success.

3) Manage your time mercilessly

4) Forget being perfect.  Being done is better than being perfect.

5) Leap before you think you’re ready – Don’t doubt your abilities!

6) Advocate for yourself

7) Behave as you would in the job you’d like to be in – Always act like a leader and show everyone you’re made for it

8) Have a plan, but write it in pencil – You should have a clear, yet flexible vision

9) Play to win

10) Risk failing more often
