Okay, so the week after “spring break” I discussed the idea of going to a local nursing home and photographing people through windows from the outside.  I know, I know…when I put it that way it’s rather peeping tom-ish.  My plan was to get in contact with someone working within one of the homes, and ask them if they would like to ask any of their tenants if they would like to be a part of it, then they would know when I was coming and join me at the window.  As it ends up there were a few issues with that.  First being that it’s really challenging to get ahold of anyone in a position of authority at a nursing home during a pandemic.  Secondly, there are all kinds of privacy issues which vary from patient to patient dependent upon the level of their mental state.  Also, majority of the patients are pretty much just hanging out in bed where I called.  Back to the drawing board I went.
